一、外国人申请签证、停留证件和居留许可（统称签证证件）须先通过网上申请，再到北京市公安局出入境管理局受理大厅递交申请进行面签，否则无法申请。

1. Before applying for visa, stay permit or residence permit (collectively referred to as visa documents), foreigners must pass online application and then submit the application to Entry-Exit Administration of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Public Security for visa interview, or the application will fail.

二、网上申请流程：网上填写信息——选择预约时间（自行打印申请表）——签证大厅递交申请材料进行面签——缴费后领取证件。

2. Online application process Fill in the information online – make an appointment (print the application form) – submit the application materials to the service center for visa interview – get the certificate after payment.

三、请特别注意您签证证件的停留期限，确保在有效期限内预约面签。逾期人员请先到居住地公安分局出入境管理部门接受处罚，重新办理住宿登记，再进行网上申请。

3. Please pay special attention to the duration of stay and make sure that you make an appointment for visa interview within the period of validity. If it’s overdue, you shall first go to entry-exit administration of the public security bureau in the place where you live to pay the fine, re-register for accommodation and then apply online.

四、预约成功仅说明您可以递交申请材料进行面签，最终审批结果以您领取到的证件为准。

4. If the appointment is made successfully, you may submit the application materials for visa interview, and as for the final results, the certificate you get shall prevail.

五、护照丢失的申请人请先到丢失地公安分局出入境管理部门报失，再到所属国驻京使馆领取新护照、重新办理住宿登记，再进行网上预约。

5. The applicant who has lost his/her passport shall first go to the public security bureau in the place where the passport was lost, then get the new passport from the embassy in Beijing, re-register for accommodation and then apply online.

六、外国新生婴儿办理停、居留登记可选择网上登记，外国婴儿的父母或者代理人需将提交父母本人有效护照或者其他国际旅行证件、父母本人有效签证证件页、外国婴儿的《出生医学证明》原件扫描上传至北京市公安局出入境管理局外国人签证证件受理互联网邮箱bjcrj-wq@nia.gov.cn，并注明联系方式。北京市公安局出入境管理局自收到邮件7个工作日反馈审核结果。

6. Foreign newborns can be registered online. The parents or authorized representatives of the foreign infant need to scan and upload the original documents of the parents' valid passports or other international travel documents, the parents' valid visa pages, and the foreign infant's "Birth Certificate" to the email bjcrj-wq@nia.gov.cn managed by the Exit-Entry Administration of Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, including contact information. Exit-Entry Administration of Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau will provide feedback via email within 7 working days upon receipt of the application.

七、外国人签证证件注销可选择网上办理，代理人需将申请死亡人员的护照、签证证件、死亡凭证及家属、监护人或代理人身份证件扫描上传至北京市公安局出入境管理局外国人签证证件受理互联网邮箱bjcrj-wq@nia.gov.cn，并注明联系方式。北京市公安局出入境管理局自收到邮件7个工作日反馈审核结果。

7. Foreigners can choose to cancel visa online. The agent needs to scan and upload the deceased's passport, visa, death certificate, and the ID of family members, guardians, or agents to the email bjcrj-wq@nia.gov.cn managed by the Exit-Entry Administration of Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, including contact information. Exit-Entry Administration of Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau will provide feedback via email within 7 working days upon receipt of the application.

八、外国人签证证件宣废可选择网上办理，代理人需将以下材料扫描上传至北京市公安局出入境管理局外国人签证证件受理互联网邮箱bjcrj-wq@nia.gov.cn，并注明联系方式，包括：外国人护照及签证、停留居留证件复印件，单位或院校出具的工作或学习结束及申请公告宣布外国人所持居留证件作废的函件并加盖单位公章（持工作居留许可的外国人，单位还需提交《外国人工作许可通知》注销凭证），单位或院校出具已告知外国人居留证件宣布作废及外国人已收悉的书面凭证。北京市公安局出入境管理局自收到邮件7个工作日反馈审核结果。

8. Foreigners can choose to nullify visa online. The agent needs to scan and upload the following materials to the email bjcrj-wq@nia.gov.cn managed by the Exit-Entry Administration of Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, including contact information. The materials are copies of the foreigner's passport and visa/stay permit/residence permit; a certification letter from the present employer or school indicating the end of work or study and requesting the announcement of the nullification of the foreigner's residence permit, sealed with the employer's official stamp (for foreigners holding a work residence permit, the employer also needs to submit the cancellation certificate of the "Notification Letter of Foreigner's Work Permit "); and a written acknowledgment from the employer or school stating that the foreigner has been informed of the nullification of the residence permit and the foreigner's acknowledgment. Exit-Entry Administration of Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau will provide feedback via email within 7 working days upon receipt of the application.
